the kadensho was absolutely not what I expected. it felt tired and in need of a makeover with the decor a bit shabby. also, they didn’t even offer a complimentary onsen experience, let alone an upgrade during my stay. i almost woudl ve given it a decent review, but the poor breakfast options ruined that.

The five unique private onsens offer a solid chance for a more intimate soak, especially welcome for those needing privacy. Spacious rooms come equipped with tatami areas, providing a unique touch to the overall ambience.
Many areas feel dated. the furniture shows significant wear and tear, with scratches and old fixtures apparent throughout. Guests should prepare for an unexpected onsen fee at checkout, which feels out of place for an 'onsen resort. ' the public baths emit a heavy chlorine smell, which detracts from the natural experience. Dining options nearby are scarce, which leaves you relying on the convenience store for late-night meals.

An Enchanting First Onsen Experience!
Our first onsen stay was memorable! The staff patiently guided us through processes. Highlight was the relaxing private baths with beautiful outdoor views. Do try their late-night ramen! Unique Ryokan Experience with Relaxing Onsens
My stay in a twin room was delightful, especially enjoying the five private onsens—which were a treat for some peaceful relaxation after a day of sightseeing. Although the dinner was visually appealing with an array of traditional dishes, the flow could have been better, as we ended up quite full by the time we received the tempura. For a more memorable experience, consider trying the private baths and don't miss out on the surprise ramen served late at night!
